The Power of a Planned Gift

SANDRA TILLISCH SVOBODA first became aware of the vital work of SDRI through her late husband, Dr. Albert Svoboda. He served on SDRI’s board for many years and, after his retirement, became more involved as the director of the SDRI internship program.

“Now I have become involved in this incredible organization, serving on the board as well,” said Sandra. “I have come to better understand the immense scope of the problem of diabetes worldwide and the incredible impact it has on the lives of persons living with diabetes and their families. I wish to support the organization dedicated to improving the lives of those living with diabetes. They have already accomplished so much. The future activities of the Institute are essential, and I want to play a part in ensuring its sustainability.”

Sandra has also included SDRI in her estate plan and noted that there are several easy ways to do this; if you are interested in learning more, please reach out to Teri Creath at tcreath@sansum.org.

“I wish to support the Institute and honor the legacy of my late husband with this gift,” said. Sandra.
