SDRI’s Board of Trustees Recognizes former Board President
Santa Barbara, CA – Sansum Diabetes Research Institute (SDRI) is pleased to announce that psychiatrist and Past Board President, Robert Nagy, MD, has been named Trustee Emeritus by SDRI’s Board of Trustees in recognition of his exemplary commitment and service to SDRI.
“Dr. Nagy’s support of SDRI over more than a decade has been nothing less than amazing,” said SDRI’s Board President, Alex DePaoli, MD. “He has inspired us and provided both leadership as our President and enthusiasm always. I am very happy to acknowledge Bob with this recognition of Emeritus Trustee and hope he will continue to be involved in SDRI’s future success.”

Dr. Nagy joins a distinguished group on the SDRI Board of Trustees Emeritus; George Burtness, William Burtness, Robert Logan, MD, Lowell McLellan, MD, and Gordon Sprague.
Each Trustee Emeritus is encouraged to attend all Board meetings and stay connected with Sansum Diabetes Research Institute, receiving all meeting minutes and notices of all events, activities and milestones.
