Molly Piper

Clinical Research Coordinator

Molly is passionate about improving the lives of others around her. She has dedicated a lot of time learning about the healthcare field, and she wants to continue to make an impact through her work at Sansum Diabetes Research Institute. She serves as a clinical research coordinator for the artificial pancreas team. She helps set up and organize the innovative clinical trials that the artificial pancreas team carries out, and she is excited to learn more about type 1 diabetes care.

Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to California to attend UCLA. She graduated from UCLA in 2018 with a BS in Neuroscience and a minor in Spanish. She volunteered in a neuroscience research lab studying the effects of oral contraceptives on emotion regulation at UCLA, and she is looking forward to furthering her experience in clinical research here at SDRI.

While she is not at work, you can find her at one of Santa Barbara’s beaches or watching a sports game. She also loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
